Not too much to report. I've just been hanging out with mom having fun. I'm getting excited for Christmas. I can't wait to see what Santa is bringing me. Mom finally got the pictures she had taken of me at Peekaboo Photos. I had a really good time there and I was ALL smiles. I can't say the same for my picture with Santa!

It's About Time!

Tuesday, November 30, 2010

Geez! I've been bugging mom for weeks that she needs to update my blog. FINALLY she listened to me and put up a couple of new pictures. I've been enjoying my new car, mom picked up a pretty sweet hat for me to wear this winter, and I've been out playing in the snow with the snow clothes grandma and grandpa bought me for my birthday.
Hopefully in the next week or so mom will be able to put up some pictures we had taken at Peekaboo Photos. I did SO good. Everyone was impressed...as they should be.
I will try and keep mom more up to date on this blog. It's not like she has anything to do :)

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!

Saturday, November 6, 2010

Well, technically yesterday was my birthday, but mom was so busy making sure I had the most awesome day, that she didn't get my blog posted. I got a little car, and snow clothes, money and toys. I got books and a drum filled with little music instruments and also a little zebra that I can bounce on. I even got a star named after me! Mom sent my picture into Good Things Utah and I got to be on tv!! I had my first taste of yummy, sugary cake. Mostly frosting, but it was so cool. We went to dinner with grandma and grandpa Brown, grandma Peterson, uncle Milt, aunt Steph and Austen. I had more cake at dinner too. I had such a fun day yesterday and mommy did such a great job making it special. Thanks mom...luv ya!

My 1st Halloween

Monday, November 1, 2010

This year was my first Halloween and of course I was Odie. Mommy was Garfield, and daddy was just himself coming home from drill weekend. I went trick-or-treating, but our neighborhood had a bunch of old fuddy-duddies and only 4 houses gave out candy. I still had a good time though. I trick-or-treated at grandpa's house and he spoiled me with lots of yummy treats. Then on Halloween we went to a party at Holly's house (mommy's friend). We had a great time and I got to decorate my first cookie. What a great weekend. I wonder what could top it.....in about 4 more days!!!

My First Pumpkin!

Sunday, October 17, 2010

This weekend I got to go with mommy and daddy to pick out my first pumpkins. On Friday we went to Wheeler Farms and after me and mom went through the straw maze I got to pick out a pumpkin. Then on Saturday we went on the Heber Valley Railroad and got to pick out pumpkins in a pumpkin patch. I did a great job picking them out. I even got stickers to put on them. Next week me and mom and dad will carve them. I can't wait.

I'm 11 Months Old!

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Yesterday I turned 11 months old. I had a pretty fun day. I hung out with grandma and grandpa, ate some paper towels, and got stuck between the treadmil and the wall. If this is what 11 months old is like...I can't wait to see what fun I have at 1 year!!

I DID IT!!

Monday, October 4, 2010

Mark October 3, 2010 in your calendars. I took my first 3 steps all by myself. I think it was the Mickey Mouse jammies that helped. Mom and dad were both there to see it and they were so proud. Dad was prouder because I walked to him, but mom should know I save the special things for her...like pooped in diapers.

And the winner is.....

It was unanimous. Even though only 3 people voted, I'm going to be Odie for Halloween this year. It's a good thing too. Mom already has the costume! I can't wait to go trick-or-treating with mommy and daddy. Mommy ordered me a personalized trick-or-treat bag and she is dusting off her Garfield costume and we are going to go together as Garfield and Odie. To thank mom for all the stuff she has done for my first Halloween, I will make sure to get lots of candy for her to eat!

1st Rule, Don't Talk About Fight Club!

Saturday, September 25, 2010

So, in my attempts to take my first steps, I fell on my little music table and split my lip with my two little teeth. I tried to be a trooper, but it hurt so bad and was bleeding so much I couldn't help but cry. Dad says this will only make me stronger, but that's a bunch of nonsense. Next time when I get hurt I will go to mommy who will give me a little bit more sympathy! Mom always knows best.

My First Haircut!

Friday, September 10, 2010

Today I went with daddy to get his hair cut and while we were there I got my hair cut too. It was starting to get pretty long in the back and I wasn't ready to handle that much "party". I was SO good. I sat really still and just chewed on the fruit bar wrapper daddy gave me. F.Y.I...I was able to OPEN that fruit bar wrapper on the way home and when mommy found me I had it all over me and the car seat. Mom hasn't vacuumed her car in a while so I thought I would give her some motivation.

Over the weekend I turned 10 month old and boy did I do a bunch of things to celebrate. I discovered the joys of toilet paper. I thought it make take some technique to the unraveling, but no...you just go for it! And then I got my first balloon. It's yellow and awesome. I can't wait for my real 1st birthday in two months. Boy does time fly. And oh ya...GO UTES!

Swim Little Fishy's

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

I had my first "Bird" class at The Little Gym. I'm with the big kids now. Mom was sad because I'm getting so big and not in the baby class anymore. Silly mom! And at the end of class I got to get a frog stamp on my hand...pretty sweet. Then me and mommy went to the Aquarium with Aunt Steph and my cousin Austen. It was pretty cool. We saw fish and petted sting-rays and saw the penguins. I'm just as tall as they are. I had a great time with my cousin and mom. She always tries to take me to do fun things. Thanks mom...I love ya!

Hurricane Colin

Sunday, August 22, 2010

Mom decided to upgrade me from tropical storm to hurricane. I just discovered how much fun it is to take stuff out of baskets, bags, closets, etc. I don't know why they make all the toys they do. All I need is some dirty clothes and a laundry basket and I am good to go for hours!

Not Much Has Changed In 30 Years!

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

First of all, thanks mom for taking the time to post a new blog. It's only been like 3 weeks!

Since I've been able to pull myself up on things I've become a very curious boy. And since I LOVE pulling open drawers and opening cabinets, mom has had to start installing safety locks on everything. These are the type of locks that grandma and grandpa used for her 30 some years ago...and with the exception of a couple of features...they are pretty much the same. Mommy sure does feel bad that her mommy and daddy had to spend all that time installing theirs because she quickly found out how "fun" and "easy" they are to install. I'm not sure what words mommy used during the nearly 1 hour it took to install 4, but I can't imagine they were very nice. Anyway, I will be sure to put those locks to good use and figure out how to bypass them in no time flat.
Love ya mom.

9 Month Old Today!

Thursday, August 5, 2010

Can you believe how fast time flies? I'm getting closer to being a year old every single day. I've had a busy day today. I had a doctors appointment which went awesome. I'm doing great and the doctor told mommy that he was very impressed by how she takes care of me. Good job mom. Then we went to the Little Gym. Again, I did awesome. Then I just ran some errands with mommy. It's been a great day, but mostly because I've got to hang out with mom. She has had to work all week so I haven't seen her much, but today was well worth the wait.

We Went To Idaho!

Sunday, July 25, 2010

This weekend me and mommy and daddy went to Idaho to visit nana and papa. When I wasn't sucking on my feet, I was crying. I made sure mom had a pleasant 6-8 hour drive! We took a detour to Sun Valley since mommy had never been there before. It was pretty cool. We didn't do much other than walk around, but it was nice to be somewhere new (and out of the car). Then we just hung out at papa's all weekend. We spent a lot of time in the pool and we went to a bbq contest/music festival at Ann Morrison Park. It was HOT!!! But we had a lot of fun. Unfortunately mom and dad are ol' fuddy duddies and we didn't get to stay for The Backstreet Boys and Bret Michaels. Geez guys...why would you want to miss them??
