Yesterday me and mommy and daddy went to Jackson's 2nd birthday party. Jackson is Kristin's little boy and Kristin is one of mommy's good friends.
I got to test out the swing that mommy said she would buy for me. I also got to go inside the inflatable jump house and jump around with mommy while daddy took our picture.
And....mommy gave in and let me try some of her cupcake. It just looked SO good and I put on that "how can you deny me such goodness" face. It worked! As I know it will almost always work throughout my life!!

Strut Your Mutt

Saturday, May 22, 2010

Today was my first Strut Your Mutt event. It was so fun because we got to take Nyssa to the park and walk around. She of course was the prettiest dog there, but she always is. I took a nap for a while, but I woke up in time to take some pictures. Mommy has done this event for many years now and I'm really excited I will be able to keep up the tradition with her. I was really glad daddy was able to come too. He will be out of town for a while, so I'm really lucky I got to spend some time with him.

My First Community Service

Monday, May 17, 2010

On Saturday me and daddy decided to do a Sandy community clean-up project. This will probably be my only non-court ordered community service I ever do! Mommy thought it would just be a day of picking up trash, so she decided to go to the mall, BUT...it was way more than that. We planted a tree! It was so much fun and now I can always say that was the tree I planted and it will be fun to see how much both of us grow over the years. I know that this tree will live a long life because daddy is really good at planting stuff and he made sure it was done right. He said Scott Matheson planted a tree too, but he didn't plant it deep enough and no one had the guts to tell him. Even if it doesn't end up dying, it will be overshadowed by the beautiful evergreen my daddy planted!

Thanksgiving Point

Friday, May 14, 2010

Today me and mommy went with aunt Wendy, Aunna and Emma to the gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was a beautiful day to be out and walk around the pretty flowers. We saw a bunny, some baby geese and an owl with two of her babies. They were really cool. I have never seen an owl before. We had a nice lunch on the patio and I had a nice little nap during the walk. I hope we go back again. I'm told there is a little farm I can go see with chickens and horses. Thanks aunt Wendy for inviting us to go with you. I had a bunch of fun. Oh ya...the best part is that I finally was able to have some pictures taken with mommy. Yeah!

YEAH! Mommy just got her new computer and she is able to post some pictures of me. Of course the jail picture is from when we were in Vegas, but the other pictures are of my 6 month birthday. I am getting so big and I am starting to sit up by myself and stand with a little bit of help. Watch out mom...the fun's about to start!

I'm 6 months old today!!

Wednesday, May 5, 2010

I can't believe how fast time goes by. I'm 6 months old today and half way to being a year old. I've accomplished so many things in my first 6 months. I've been rolling over, eating my toes, saying "mama" and now trying really hard to sit up by myself and learn to crawl. My mom is always so proud of me and can't wait to see what I do next.
Unfortunately, mommy's computer died, so she is unable to put up pictures. She's got another one on the way so hopefully soon she can come back and add pictures of me on my 6 month birthday! She's got a couple really cute ones of me, but I always take good pictures, so she will just have to choose which ones to use.
Thanks mom...love you!

Vegas Baby!

Saturday, May 1, 2010

I guess what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas!

I went to Sin City for the first time this week. I went with mommy and daddy and grandma Lisa. All the flashing lights and noise was SO fun. This is a picture of the crib I slept in. Mommy said it looked like a 1960's orphanage crib. So of course she posed me for pictures. Silly mommy. Is this what I have to look forward to the rest of my life? I sure hope we go to Vegas again soon. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoy spending several hours with mommy shopping!!
