California: Part 1

This week we went on our first real family vacation. I have been talking about it for weeks because I have been promised events of grandeur such as Sea World and the beach. We started our vacation last Saturday driving to Mesquite. I have to say I did awesome during that portion of the drive. The next morning mommy and daddy decided to stop in Vegas and take me to Circus Circus so I could run around before we drove to California. They had some fun stuff, but the best was Spongebob 4D. It had water, bubbles, pickle smells and of course 3D glasses. It was pretty cool. Then we headed out to San Diego. Again I did great on the drive, even with the bumper to bumper traffic from Primm Nevada ALL THE WAY to San Diego. I think we just hit the CA traffic lottery. When we got to our resort I walked around with daddy outside our room. It was right on the golf course, so I got to see lots of old people in funny looking shorts the whole time. Lagoon

It's been a while since my mom updated my blog...but she's been busy and I forgive her. Last month I went to Lagoon for the first time. And I have to say...IT WAS AWESOME! I love roller coasters. They are so much fun and I'm even brave enough to hold my hands in the air. Mom was able to ride some of the rides with me, but I was big enough to tackle quite a few by myself. I can't wait until I'm just a little bit bigger to go on some of the more faster rides.

Idaho Baby

For the 4th of July we went to Idaho to visit Papa and Nana. I had a blast. I got to see my cousin Liam who is almost a year older than me. I sure am big. We got to go swimming every day and we went miniature golfing for the first time. Mom won...of course. They had fun games to play there and I got to take a ride with Spider Man. Then we went up in the mountains to Idaho City and I got to play in the creek and look for gold. It was cool because we caught a bunch of gold flakes. There were also a TON of butterflies which was mom's worse nightmare. Me and dad think they are pretty, but mom knows in reality they are just big giant moths flying around. I have a feeling I will never get a butterfly kit as long as she has any say.

I Love To Swim

This year I'm in my very own swim class without mom. I love it! I can do everything the teacher asks me to do and I'm even able to put my head under water now. I wish I could go swimming all the time but I think I'm wearing my mom out.

Slip and Slide

Guess what grandpa bought me? A slip and slide! I have been wanting to play in the water all week and today was a perfect day for it. I ran back and forth in the water, did a little jumping on the trampoline and finished off my day with a make shift water slide that mommy helped me with. I can't wait to do this again. Thank you grandpa.

Little Gym Graduation

This week I graduated from my Beast class at the Little Gym. Grandpa got to go and see all the things I've learned all year. The parachute is my favorite, but I love hanging from the bars and rolling down the cheese. At the end of class we all got to stand on a pedestal and get medals. However...I didn't want mommy to have the satisfaction of getting those pictures. Instead, when we got home she made me my own pedestal and we had redo pictures. She should know better than to have expectations when it comes to me! This summer I am officially a Super Beast.

The Childrens Garden

Me and mommy went to Thanksgiving Point with Aunt Wendy, Aunna, Emma and baby Erik. I got to climb in ropes and up rocks, float boats down a little river. Me and Aunna put on a show at the Ladybug Stage, and then we finished up playing in the Ark water feature. It was the best! I didn't want to leave, but next time I'm bringing my swim suit so I can really play in the water.
